The organization of extracurricular activities by a mathematics teacher as a condition for the formation of organizational culture

Abstract

The article reveals the essence of organizational culture and its role for the teacher of an educational organization. The results of research by Russian and foreign teachers are summarized, which reveal scientific views on the formation and purpose of organizational culture in the process of professional formation of a teacher and its impact on the academic performance of students. Using the example of extracurricular work in mathematics, thematic scientific papers were studied, which allowed us to identify the idea of additional classes in the context of the organizational culture of the teacher. The results of a study conducted by the profile department of the leading university of the Chechen Republic among future and current teachers of mathematics are analyzed. As a result, key problems were identified that hinder teachers' attitude to extracurricular work in mathematics as a way of professional realization in the context of existing conditions in educational organizations. Summarizing the results of the study showed the general most likely trends among future and current mathematics teachers, which are manifested in obtaining high-quality specialized education and the lack of necessary support for creative initiation on the example of extracurricular work in an educational organization. The results of the study made it possible to compare the theoretical recommendations of the pedagogical community, some of which need to be adapted in the pedagogical activity of modern mathematics teachers. The comparison also revealed that for the Russian educational reality, the regulation of the organizational culture of teachers is not a potential effective solution. When summarizing the theoretical and practical components of the initial scientific information concerning the problem of this scientific work, recommendations were proposed. The adaptation of recommendations is highly likely to solve the task of self-realization of the teacher with the help of organizational culture and academic performance of students by participating in extracurricular activities, for which the mathematics teacher uses creativity and research opportunities. The proposed recommendations are aimed at compliance by the vocational education system and educational institutions in which mathematics teachers operate with two conditions.
