Abstract

This article examines the impact of information and communication technologies on the quality of education in secondary schools. The author analyzes the differences in educational outcomes between classes where teachers actively use ICT and those where ICT is rarely used. The article also highlights a number of advantages of ICT in education, including the adaptation of educational materials to the individual needs of students, the development of communication skills through online collaboration and increased access to educational resources. However, disadvantages are also discussed, such as the risk of information overload and technical problems that may accompany the use of ICT. In conclusion, the author emphasizes the need for further research to optimize the integration of ICT into the educational process, as well as strategies to support teachers and students to improve learning effectiveness.
