В современном мире цифровых технологий овладения иностранным языком студентами нелингвистических высших учебных заведений неразрывно связано со специфическими умениями присутствовать в виртуальной среде и общаться онлайн реалиями, понимать символику электронного дискурса. Поэтому задача преподавателя заключается в повышении уровня мультимодальной грамотности студентов. Актуальность исследования связана не только с проблемой решения эмоционального аспекта иноязычного общения студентов нелингвистических заведений, но и с современными цифровыми реалиями, которые должны способствовать учебному процессу и мотивационному прогрессу в овладении языком. Эмодзи не считаются отдельным языком, они играют роль эмотивного дополнения к речи. А поскольку это так, то они могут помогать и в изучении языка. Статья нацелена на изучение возможностей использования языка иконической атрибутики в курсе иностранного языка. Особенности электронной коммуникации в том, что она пользуется знаковой символикой, не характерной для традиционной письменной речи, а именно эмодзи, с помощью которых передают эмоции и другие понятия. Цифровые технологии ворвались во все сферы жизни человека, поэтому не могли обойти и сферу образования.
In the modern world of digital technologies, the acquisition of a foreign language by students of nonlinguistic higher educational institutions is inextricably linked with specific skills to be present in a virtual environment and communicate online realities, to understand the symbolism of electronic discourse. Therefore, the task of the teacher is to increase the level of multimodal literacy of students. The relevance of the research is connected not only with the problem of solving the emotional aspect of foreign language communication of students of non-linguistic institutions, but also with modern digital realities that should contribute to the educational process and motivational progress in language acquisition. Emojis are not considered a separate language, they play the role of an emotive complement to speech. And since this is the case, they can also help in learning the language. The article is aimed at exploring the possibilities of using the language of iconic attributes in a foreign language course. The peculiarities of electronic communication are that it uses symbolic symbols that are not characteristic of traditional written speech, namely emojis, with which emotions and other concepts are conveyed. Digital technologies broke into all spheres of human life, so they could not bypass the sphere of education.
