Раскрывается следующая модель управления развитием профессиональной компетентности, которая осуществляется в учреждениях последипломного педагогического образования. В ее структуру входят три ключевых компонента: концептуальный (совокупное управленческое знание), технологический (уровень сформированности профессиональной компетентности педагогов) и содержательный (управленческое и  методическое сопровождение профессиональной компетентности педагогов). Основными последовательными подсистемами развития профессиональной компетентности педагога являются: профессиональное становление (наблюдается на начальных этапах профессиональной деятельности педагога и связывается с формированием у него профессиональной позиции), профессиональное развитие (оказывается в активной педагогической деятельности) и творческая реализация (дает возможность проявить свои индивидуальные и профессиональные возможности). Главными этапами управления развитием профессиональной компетентности педагога являются: докурсовый (подготовительный), базовый (непосредственное прохождение курсов повышения квалификации) и послекурсовый (внедренческий).

The following model of management of professional competence development, which is carried out in institutions of postgraduate pedagogical education, is revealed. Its structure includes three key components: conceptual (total managerial knowledge), technological (the level of formation of professional competence of teachers) and substantive (managerial and methodological support of professional competence of teachers). The main sequential subsystems of the development of a teacher's professional competence are: professional formation (observed at the initial stages of a teacher's professional activity and associated with the formation of his professional position), professional development (turns out to be in active pedagogical activity) and creative realization (gives the opportunity to show their individual and professional capabilities). The main stages of managing the development of professional competence of a teacher are: pre-course (preparatory), basic (direct completion of advanced training courses) and post-course (implementation).
