<trans-abstract xml:lang="en">Using the visual analysis method of CiteSpace knowledge mapping, this study conducted a quantitative analysis of 358 articles from the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) and 250 articles from the Web of Science (WoS) on multimodal teacher discourse research from 2010 to 2025, aiming to explore the development trends, hotspots, and frontiers in this field. The results show that foreign research has grown steadily since 2010 and slowed down after 2021, while domestic research peaked in 2014, fluctuated and rose after 2019, and surpassed foreign publications since 2021. Common research hotspots both domestically and internationally focus on English teaching, teaching models, and the integration of information technology, with foreign research emphasizing multimodal framework construction and cultural dimensions, and domestic research paying more attention to college English classrooms and technological applications. Frontier analysis indicates that foreign research has evolved through the stages of framework construction – literacy development – classroom organization , while domestic research has shifted from exploring teaching models to learning analysis and evaluation , extending into emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence. This study provides quantitative references for the theoretical deepening and practical innovation of multimodal teacher discourse research.</trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><title>Keywords</title><kwd>multimodal teacher discourse</kwd><kwd>visual analysis</kwd><kwd>research hotspots</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><title>Ключевые слова</title><kwd>мультимодальный учительский дискурс</kwd><kwd>визуализированный анализ</kwd><kwd>исследовательские тренды</kwd></kwd-group><counts><page-count count="16"/></counts>
