<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>In recent years, the problem of restructuring the structure of international cooperation between Russian universities has become the most urgent due to changes in the geopolitical contours of effective interaction between education systems in different countries. Its main aspects are: low awareness of partner countries about the achievements of national education systems, low complementarity of educational programs, causing problems of adaptation of university students participating in the collaboration to the educational process, insufficient level of readiness of industry university professionals regarding the organization of innovative forms of educational cooperation, as well as laminar transfer of scientific ideas, information resources and specialists. The purpose of the work is to present international professional and educational cooperation of sports universities as an ecosystem with high adaptability to the environment, diversity and fundamental openness, and diverse areas of information and other resource exchange. The research methodology is based on the principles of systemic, environmental, synergetic and resource approaches. Research methods: literature analysis, survey, data collection and processing. The results of the study were: the main directions and criteria for the sustainability of the system of international professional and educational cooperation as an ecosystem have been identified.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><title>Keywords</title><kwd>educational ecosystem</kwd><kwd>system sustainability</kwd><kwd>international cooperation</kwd><kwd>sports university</kwd><kwd>optimization criteria</kwd><kwd>areas of interaction</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><title>Ключевые слова</title><kwd>образовательная экосистема</kwd><kwd>устойчивость системы</kwd><kwd>международное сотрудничество</kwd><kwd>спортивный вуз</kwd><kwd>критерии оптимизации</kwd><kwd>направления взаимодействия</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group>
