В статье анализируется актуальность развивающего обучения в современной образовательной системе. Автором исследуется понятие «развитие». Делается вывод, что это процесс закономерных, необратимых, направленных изменений объектов разной природы, приводящих к новым качественным или количественным их состояниям. В образовательной области развитие может предполагать следующие виды изменений: физические; психолого-физиологические; психологические; социальные. Обобщая тенденции современной образовательной системы, автор выделяет и анализирует некоторые пути повышения качества развивающего обучения школьников: 1) создание комфортных условий для обучения; 2) соблюдение санитарно-гигиенических норм; 3) улучшение материально-технического обеспечения школы; 4) повышение компетентности учителей; 5) освоение и внедрение новых информационных технологий; 6) определение и коррекция типичных затруднений школьников.

It is concluded that this is a process of regular, irreversible, directed changes of objects of different nature, leading to new qualitative or quantitative conditions.
