Данное исследование посвящено разработке интегрированной методики обучения английскому языку в вузе с учетом межкультурной коммуникации. Актуальность темы обусловлена растущей потребностью в специалистах, способных эффективно взаимодействовать в глобальном контексте. Цель исследования – создание комплексной методики, направленной на формирование иноязычной коммуникативной компетенции и межкультурной осведомленности студентов. Задачи включают анализ существующих подходов, разработку инновационных методов и апробацию предложенной методики. Методология опирается на интеграцию коммуникативного, компетентностного и межкультурного подходов. Эмпирическая база представлена выборкой из 120 студентов 1-2 курсов неязыковых специальностей. Результаты показали статистически значимое повышение уровня владения английским языком (t=5.67, p<0.01), а также рост межкультурной сензитивности (d=0.84). Разработанная методика продемонстрировала эффективность в развитии иноязычных навыков и межкультурной компетентности студентов. Полученные данные вносят вклад в методику преподавания иностранных языков и открывают перспективы для дальнейшей оптимизации языкового образования в вузе.
This study is devoted to the development of an integrated methodology for teaching English at a university, taking into account intercultural communication. The relevance of the topic is due to the growing need for specialists who are able to effectively interact in a global context. The purpose of the research is to create a comprehensive methodology aimed at the formation of foreign language communicative competence and intercultural awareness of students. The tasks include the analysis of existing approaches, the development of innovative methods and the approbation of the proposed methodology. The methodology is based on the integration of communicative, competence-based and intercultural approaches. The empirical base is represented by a sample of 120 students of 1-2 courses of non-linguistic specialties. The results showed a statistically significant increase in English language proficiency (t=5.67, p<0.01), as well as an increase in intercultural sensitivity (d=0.84). The developed methodology demonstrated effectiveness in the development of foreign language skills and intercultural competence of students. The data obtained contribute to the methodology of teaching foreign languages and open up prospects for further optimization of language education at the university.
