В данном исследовании представлен функционалистский взгляд на сферу образования развитых стран, в частности, США и Японии. Цель статьи – рассмотреть теоретические изыскания в данном контексте. В работе применен метод литературного анализа трудов современных ученых – в частности, Макса Вебера, Дюркгейма, Анри Жиру, Сэмюэла Боулза, Ларо Аннт и др. На основе изученных материалов сделан вывод, что основу системы образования в указанных в них странах составляет стратификация подростков, предоставляющая условия, более комфортные для учащихся, изучающих предметы более высокого уровня, что препятствует полноценному образованию обучающихся с менее успешными способностями. В работе рассмотрены аспекты критической педагогики, а также определение понятия «социокультурные практики». Представленная статья будет интересна для широкой педагогической общественности, аспирантов, учителей-предметников всех, кто интересуется данной темой.
This study presents a functionalist view of the education sector in developed countries, in particular, the United States and Japan. The purpose of the article is to consider theoretical research in this context. The paper uses the method of literary analysis of the works of modern scientists, in particular, Max Weber, Durkheim, Henri Giroux, Samuel Bowles, Laro Annt, and others. Based on the materials studied, it is concluded that the basis of the education system in the countries indicated in them is the stratification of adolescents, which provides conditions more comfortable for students studying higher-level subjects, which prevents the full-fledged education of students with less successful abilities. The paper considers aspects of critical pedagogy, as well as the definition of the concept of "socio-cultural practices". The presented article will be of interest to the general pedagogical community, graduate students, and subject teachers of all who are interested in this topic.
