Актуальность исследования заключается в необходимости поиска новых подходов развития профессионального самоопределения учеников старших классов и студентов вуза, ориентированных на технические профессии. Современные тенденции развития российской социально-экономической ситуацией повысили спрос на рынке производства к профессиям, связанным с физикой, но интерес школьников к физике за последние десятилетия снизился. Цель исследования: изучить особенности профессионального самоопределения выпускников сургутских школ и студентов направления «Физика» Сургутского государственного университета. Методы исследования: обзорно-критическое исследование научной литературы и эмпирический метод – анкетирование. Результаты исследования показали, что снижение интереса к физике по мнению школьников и студентов определяется сложностью предмета и трудностями в понимании объяснений учителей и учебников. Ведущими мотивами выбора профессии физик являются наличие технических способностей и интереса школьников, возможность успешного трудоустройства в крупных нефтегазовых компаниях. Значимость для школьников выбора конкретного вуза для получения образования. 62 % школьников серьезно относятся к выбору учебного заведения для получения профессионального образования, так как от этого зависит качество образования, 29 % более ориентированы на возможность получить конкретную специальность, независимо от вуза. Ориентация школьников на рейтинг вуза при выборе профессии. 75,5 % школьников составили собственный рейтинг вузов в процессе выбора места получения профессионального образования, 10% – ориентируются на один конкретный вуз. Остальные еще не определились с этим вопросом.

Purpose of the study: to study the features of professional self-determination of graduates of Surgut schools and students of the “Physics” direction of Surgut State University. Research methods: review-critical study of scientific literature and empirical method - survey. The results of the study showed that the decrease in interest in physics, according to schoolchildren and students, is determined by the complexity of the subject and difficulties in understanding the explanations of teachers and textbooks. The leading motives for choosing the profession of physicist are the presence of technical abilities and interest of schoolchildren, the possibility of successful employment in large oil and gas companies.
